1-3 Robotics Club Ozrim

Being an After-School Activity Ozrim is a unique and rewarding opportunity for middle school students. As an Ozrim, students will assist coaches and instructors, engage with younger students, and help create a welcoming environment. 

We look to our Ozrim as leaders. If students are not fulfilling their Ozrim responsibilities, they may be asked to no longer participate in the activity. Note that each activity is limited to two Ozrim, but students can join the waitlist if spots are filled. Schedules may change, and positions could open up at any time during the winter season.

Below is the description of the class:

Led by Susan Vlodaver, students will cultivate an early passion for coding, computer science, and STEAM education by using the Dash robot and participating in the Wonder League Robotics Competition.

Through a series of story-based missions, teams develop problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and tap into their creativity all while learning to code. This year’s competition has Dash embarking on an epic journey, exploring key moments in history to unlock the future! Each mission takes your team to a different point in time, challenging their problem-solving skills. Can they help Dash find the way home?

Round 1 (Winter Season) 11 classes: Open to everyone age 6-8 (1st -3rd) 

Invitation Rounds (Early Spring) 7 classes: Will be for students who have successfully completed round 1.
