Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game that involves problem solving, creativity, and teamwork. While the backdrop of D&D is fantastical worlds full of knights, monsters, swords, spells, castles, and magical forests, the base of every game revolves around the three key components listed at the top. These elements are what make D&D the perfect after school activity for our middle school students.
In 5-8 Dungeons & Dragons Club, students will learn a truncated version of the game; how to roleplay the characters they create, play their characters in fun adventures, and eventually how to make their own scenarios, maps, and conflicts within their own D&D stories and worlds.
