4-5 Math Club Ozrim

Being an After-School Activity Ozrim is a unique and rewarding opportunity for middle school students. As an Ozrim, students will assist coaches and instructors, engage with younger students, and help create a welcoming environment. 

We look to our Ozrim as leaders. If students are not fulfilling their Ozrim responsibilities, they may be asked to no longer participate in the activity. Note that each activity is limited to two Ozrim, but students can join the waitlist if spots are filled. Schedules may change, and positions could open up at any time during the winter season.

Below is the description of the class:

Dr. Thorne has a wonderful talent for getting all her students excited about math! All students are welcome to join the club. We hope to compete again in the Math Masters competition in the spring. However, Math Club is for students who are passionate about math, and competing is not a requirement. This class is designed for real math enthusiasts, not as a tutoring session.
